Considering The Changing Par ish, the roundtable group included Father Maurice Amann, O.F.M., Father Patrick Curran and Father Jean Marie Jammes. Father Amann is from Corpus Christi parish; Father Curran is from Holy Angels parish, and Father Jammes, from France, has just completed research at the University of Chicago. A reprint of the original manuscript on which Alice in Wonderland was based, it was hand written and illustrated by Lewis Carroll. The original is in the British museum. The Mundelein copy, decorated with quaint, pastel colored figures, is a gift of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Stanley. English Department Tea Welcomes Back Alumnae With a greeting for collegiate friends and teachers, the English and English-Journalism department alumnae will meet on Sunday, Feb. 7, for the annual alumnae tea, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Social Room. Annette Leipsiger is chair man of the tea. Rita Frische is chairman of the Reception committee. Assisting her will be Rita Welsh, Margaret Shannon, Lu cille Hamilton, Audre McCarthy, Ann Fitzgerald, and Peg gy Winslow. Heading the Checking committee is Rosemary DiGiovanni, with Violet Ranieri, Patricia Pecoraro, Mary Ann Wenzel, Dorothy Chir- opolos, and Barbara Schwenk as assistants. She Will be assisted by Noreen Ryan, Barbara Brennan, Mary Reidy, Pa tricia Gmelich, Marilyn Cullen and Ann McCarty. 90 Economics Students Visit Local Banks Forty-five members of the Ec onomics classes will tour the Chi cago Federal Reserve bank and the Continental Illinois National bank, Feb. 3. A visit to the Clearing house and a lecture-visit to the Board of Trade will follow. Marilyn Forst, secretary of the classes, is in charge of tour arrangements. On Dec. 19, an additional 45 students vis ited the Federal Reserve Bank. Laurene Giannini will talk to the Money and Banking classes on the history of the Giannini Em pire of Banking on the West coast, on Feb. 10. Although not related to the famed California family, Miss Gi annini has made a study of the Empire, which constitutes the Bank of America. Anne Davidson, Yvonne Hammersley, and Sarah Ratto are char ter members of the JayCees, Junior Citizens club now in the process of formation. It is organized for students interested in their government and eager to learn how they may cooperate with it and improve it.
