Pafee Four SKYSCRAPER Wins Race, Ribbon in Horse Show Junior resident student Mary Alice Burmeister heeded the call of boots and saddle when she returned recently to her home city, St. Louis, to ride in the Fontbonne Annual Spring Horse Show. The show was open to alumnae e gt;f Fontboniie college from which Miss Bttrmeister transferred this year. With her sister, Miss Burmeisler. who has been riding for the last four years in the pairs, won one of the two events open lo alumnae. She also par ticipated previously in the St. Louis horse show, which is one of the leading social affairs of the year as well as a note worthy event in the field of horseman ship. Riding with her sister, Miss Burmeis- ler came off with several firsts in the pairs, which is an exhibition of the various points of good riding, hand, trot, and walk. Student Golf, Tennis Players Enter Tourney As the year draws to a close the finals in the golf and tennis tourna ments approach, with champion ama teur players looking forward to awards for success. Players still in the tennis tournament, rounds of which are played in the gym nasium, on the fourth-floor roof, or on the Loyola courts, are Dorothy Crow ley, Virginia Parr, Dorothy Schreck, Lucille Small, Anita Gihian, Patricia McEnroe, Rita Eiden, Edythe Wil liams, Violelte Lasker, Annamarie Berk, June Kash, Marie Kane, and Frances Kane.
