Page Four The SKYSCRAPER April 18, 1969 news in brief: financialaid directortrusteescounselorsWLUC Financial Aid Richard Nelli, bursar at Illinois State College, Normal. 111., will replace Paul M. Crafton, who died last December, as director of Financial Aid. Nelli, who will assume his post May 1, will seek federal funds available to Mundelein and write proposals for them. The new director received a B.S. in accounting from Northwestern Univer sity and a master's degree in business administration from Illinois State Uni versity. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Nelli is married and has two children. We're getting a top notch man, said Dr. Gloria Lewis, dean of students. There were several candidates for the position, but Nelli was the first choice of the committee. Dr. Lewis said that Nelli has eleven years experience in the finan cial field. Trustees The Mundelein Board of Trustees recently added two members, Robert Sheridan and William Noonan. This in crease brings the number of lay trustees to twelve, along with five Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary who serve on the board. According to Sister Ann Ida Gannon, president, the trustees bring a dimension to the school that the academic community does not have. Noonan. vice president of Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Com pany was graduated from Northwestern University. A native of Chicago, he did graduate work at the University of Wis consin and the Wharton School of Fi nance, Philadelphia. Sheridan is the founder and president of Nationwide Industries, a franchising company. Born in New York, he gradu ated from Cooper College and later stud ied at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago. I believe that education, exemplified by Mundelein College, is the most impor tant resource we can command today in developing solutions to the problems of our cities, Sheridan said. I am grat ified at becoming identified with this im portant resource. Counselors Mrs. Peggy Walter and Father Austin Walsh have joined the Student Personnel Staff of the Dean of Students Office for the remainder of the term. Mrs. Walter is a graduate student at Northwestern University who will serve an Internship in Research and Counseling in Higher Education. Father Walsh, a graduate student in Counseling at Loyola Univer sity, will be available on Fridays. Mrs. Walter and Father Walsh may be con tacted through the Counseling Service. room 500 or through Mrs. Bette Becker- man, 204. WLUC It appears that WLUC will not be home less next fall after all. When Loyola moved the Student union to Mertz Hall, it overlooked a new place for the Loyola- Mundelein radio station. However, as a result of the petition signed by students from both campuses, the Loyola admin istration promised space for next year. WLUC, 600 on the AM dial, broadcasts Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - mid night. The format consists of the top-40 during the day and rock programming, from hard rock to the underground sounds in the evening. Some programs also offer jazz, blues, folk and classical music. Anyone interested in joining the staff should contact Fran O'Herron, 113 Cof fey. But until now you needed two or more separate solutions to properly prepare and maintain your contacts. Not with Lensine. Lensine is the one lens solution for complete contact lens care. Cleaning your contacts with Lensine retards the buildup of foreign deposits on the lenses. And soaking your contacts in Lensine overnight assures you of proper lens hygiene. You get a free soaking case on the bottom of every bottle of Lensine. It has been demonstrated that improper storage between wearings may result in the growth of bacteria on the lenses. This is a sure cause of eye irritation and in some cases can endanger your vision. Bacteria cannot grow in Lensine which is sterile, self-sanitizing, and antiseptic. Just a drop or two of Lensine, before you insert your lens, coats and lubricates it allowing the lens to float more freely in the eye's fluids. That's because Lensine is an isotonic solution, which means that it blends with the natural fluids of the eye. Let your contacts be the convenience they were meant to be. Get some Lensine, from the Murine Company, Inc.
