Paftc Four SKYSCRAPER Anchors Aweigh For Terrapin Water Carnival Be In the Swim on May 11, 12 America Forever The Terrapins have chosen a fitting theme for their Water Carnival, to be held May 11 and 12 at 8:15 p.m., in the college swimming pool. After the Introductory Ballet, one pilot will report to the control room, while the Army, Navy, and Marines enter and skim the water dressed in patriotic colors. The swish of grass skirts and the flash of tropical prints will bring the rhumbas of South America to the pool, while the wartime necessities, blackout and parachute troops, will be realistical ly produced in a spectacular splurge of color. Do Stunt Dives For a little comedy relief, the Junior Terrapins will execute hilarious stunt dives, while the Senior Terrapins will thrill the spectators with their demon stration of perfect form. As a final patriotic gesture, the red, white, and blue suits of nine star Terra pins will form intricate designs and for mations. The ballets were originated by the students with the help of Miss Fileen Scanlan. Mary Barbara Gale will be the pilot who reports to Audrey Cameron, in tin- control room. Mary Davy.
