Seniors in caps and gowns will march in procession to the theatre, and Sylvia Dominguez and Joyce Krenek will play the organ ac companiments for the recessional and for the Communion hymns and the Te Dcuni. 102 Days Till Classes Resume In September In exactly 102 days, incom ing Seniors will be puzzling over class schedules at Senior Registration, Monday morn ing, Sept. 12. Juniors will register Tues day morning, Sept. 13; Soph omores, Wednesday morning, Sept. 14; and Freshmen, Thursday morning, Sept. 15. following five days of Fresh man Orientation. Classes will begin on Mon day, Sept. 19 and the Mass of the Holy Spirit will be solemnized in the audito rium on Friday, Sept. 25. ()n September 29. 1930, the west door opened for the first time to a 'nvf students, and 250 eager, be wildered Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors found their way to the lockers, the lounge, the elevators, and academic life at Mundelein. Since that September day, more than 8000 girls have crossed the college threshold, more than 2500 have taken degrees. On September 29, 1955, ex actly 25 years after the first Mundelein schoolday, Chica- goans will pay a civic tribute to the largest school in Illinois devoted exclusively to the higher education of women. With Mr. Dan Ryan, chairman of the Cook County Board of Com missioners, as chairman, leading citizens, friends of the College, alumnae and their husbands, par ents of alumnae and students, and members of the student body will gather at the Conrad Hilton Ho tel for a subscription dinner, hon oring the Mundelein Sisters for their quarter century of service in Chicago. Mr. James Carroll, president of the Fathers club, is handling reser vations for the dinner, and Mary- Margaret Mitchell Langdon '40, alumnae president, is handling alumnae plans for the civic ob servance. Student reservations may be made with the Dean or through Virginia Leidinger, incoming president of the Student Activities Council.
