Each student has completed the con struction of a five-tube radio receiver. College Honors, awarded to students in the sophomore, junior, and senior classes who are in the upper five per cent of the class, were awarded to five seniors, five juniors, and eight sopho mores at the annual Honors Convoca tion, on May 20. The Reverend William J. Millor. S.J.. of Loyola, presented the honors, assisted by Marianne Donahoe, Jean Bemis. and Julia Case. Seniors meriting College Honors were Ellen Foran, Eleanor Kandratas. Laur- Ctte Keshen, Nathalie Letcher, anil Royce McFadyen. Juniors who received College Honors were Edith Bukowski, Mary Patricia Crumley, Grace O'Connor. Dolores Rud nik. and Helen Sauer. College Honors went to the following sophomores: Betty Clifford. Kathryn Fox, Barbara Ann Frick. Mary Lou Gulick, Mary Louise Hector. Eileen Ma her. Betty Jane McCambridge, and Ei leen Murphy. Students ranking in the upper 10 per cent of their class were awarded Class Honors in recognition of their scholar ship. Seniors meriting this award were Albina Gherardi, Marilouise Kelly, Kath leen O'Connor. Sylvia Owczarek, and Helen Printy. Junior Class Honors went to Patricia Herbert. Been Ryan contributed the familiar igarian Rhapsody, Number 10, by Liszt, and Mary Lou Gulick played De bussy's Hills of Ana Capri. Mary Jane I logan chose for her violin solo the flashing Allegro Brilliante. by Hare, and Rosemary Viglione contrib uted a piano number. Scherzo in C Sharp Minor by Chopin. Margaret Walter sang the lovely Waltz Song from Romeo and Juliet, by Gou nod; and Mary Katherine Doolcy played .i viola arrangement b) Beethoven and Tertis on Variations on a Theme by Mozart. Marianne Donahoe concluded the program with Gardens in the Rain, by- Debussy.
