Charlene Anzalone. and Sally Wasscrman will he in the bridal party. Pepper Perkins, senior Sociology ma jor, will wed Thomas Ryan, Loyola graduate, Sept. 29 in St. Ignatius church. Residents Honor Senior Quests At Annual Dinner The resident students' annual fare well dinner honoring the departing seniors was held May 15. Senior guests were Patricia Burke, Frances Even, Ardelle Grubba, Jean Kielbasa, Nancy Metzger, Dolores Nowikowski, Jean Ott, Loretta Spisak, Geraldine Tyrrell, and Lucille Winkler. A humorous skit and the class proph ecy were presented by Juniors Blan- dina Beitoo, Mary Louise Zahm. Dol ores Donohue, Bernadine Lotz, and Joanne Sheridan, under the chairman ship of Barbara Schmidt. Mary Lou Siwe says next May 17 will be the day she and Richard Rush. Loyola graduate, walk down the aisle of St. Hyacinth church. Marianna Griglik, senior Spanish major will serve as her bridesmaid. The United States Armed Forces have intervened between Anna Marie Doogau and Charles Moliter of the Marines, and Marion Dwyer and John Gleason, and their marriage plans. Other engaged girls who have set no definite dates for their weddings are Dolores Nowikowski and Harlow LaBarge; Elaine Mantas and James Fugle; Betty Sittler and Thomas Bock. Thanksgiving Vows Vivian Wallace has decided that Thanksgiving will be the day for tak ing her vows with Richard Fielder in St. Genevieve's church. Rosemary Mash will be her maid of honor. Climax Honors Day With Formal Tea Tomorrow the Seniors will climax Honors Day by bidding farewell to the Juniors at a formal tea in the social room, from 3 to 5 p.m. Nancy Brown is chairman of the event, aided by Mary Ellen Ward and Rita Bresnahan who are in charge of en tertainment. A 50-minute skit, Alice in Munderland, will be presented. On the Refreshment committee are Marie Vail and Patricia O'Callaban. Ho-.tess for the affair will be Jean Kiel basa, while Patricia Dee manages ar rangements. Angela O'Hara. Patricia Considine, and Dione De Vorc head the Decora tions committee. All Students Have Part In Annual May Coronation Jean Kennedy, Sodality prefect, crown ed the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary May 17. at the annual May Coronation ceremony. Assisting her were Joan Cahill and Betty Garrity. Also participating in the procession were members of the present Spiritual Council. Mary Kay Hannon. Dolores Sul livan. Rose Marie Kcane, Mary Mahoney. Mary O'Connor. Jeaninne Campbell, Lor etta Gibbons, and Alice Kelly. Former members in procession were Judy McNulty, Loretta Spisak, Dolores Nowikowski, Betty Byrne, and Geraldine Tyrrell. Children in the party were Mary Kath- erine Schreiher. Elaine Marie Grandt, and Joan Fullam, daughters of alumnae. Father Martin Carrabine, S.J., address ed the student assembly in the audi torium preceeding the coronation. Following the address, members of the Senior class, in caps and gowns, went in procession to the shrine and placed roses in the background trellis. The student body sang O Mary We Crown Thee as the crown was placed on the statue. The students also sang the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Emily Kloc was the organist. Place End of Year Parties, Picnics On Club Rosters The spirit of summer is upon us along with the craving for hotdogs and cold pop. Numerous party plans are under way in the various clubs throughout the college. With weiners and baseballs in hand, members of the Chemistry club will enjoy their annual picnic on May 26 at 1-aBaugh woods. Dine at Cafe Les D'Arciennes will have their French dinner tonight at the French Cafe on Howard street. All students in the French department and their friends are invited. International relations turned to the area of personal relations at the In ternational Relations club meeting, May 9.
