THE Debate Club Makes National Honor Society Delta Sigma Rho Will Receive Members Delta Sigma Rho, national honorary forensic society, lias announced that a chapter membership in the fraternity has been granted to the College Debate club. Skyscraper Earns All-American Award All-American Honor rating has been earned by the Skyscraper, according to an announcement from the Associated Collegiate Press. Chancellor Hutchins established the chair of scholastic philosophy at the University of Chicago, with Jacques Maiitain, Etienne Gilson, and othei distinguished Scholastic philosophers as guest lecturers. As head of one of the nation's 'argest privately-endowed universities, Chan cellor Hutchins has achieved a repu tation as a champion of liberal, cultural values as opposed to educational tech nology. Margaret Daly, and Loretta Gallagher are delegates to the sixth National Congress of the National Federation of Catholic College Students to be held at the Congress hotel, May 4-7. Marjorie Boyd, a member of the Congress committee, is in charge of secretarial arrangements. Mary Leona Merrick will edit the daily Congress bulletin. Other students will assist in registration and secretarial duties. The Catholic College Student A Call to the Lay Apostolate is the theme of the four day meeting. Home Economists Prepare Symposium The Three Musketeers will be on display during the annual Koine Econo mics symposium, to be held May 10. in Room 405. Two are being deprived of calcium in their diet, which would be barbaric treatment if they were human, but. since they are rodents, it is permissible for the sake of nutrition. The experiment, to be discussed by Florence Smith and her assistants, will show the value of a new beverage richer in calcium than milk.
