Other weapons are at their feet - sabres, rapier, pistol, and more blunderbusses. The hair of both men stands on their heads. One is in a uniform while the other man wears fashionable civilian dress with tasseled Hessian boots. A spectator looks over the edge of the pit. Holding a bowl he blows soap bubbles with a pipe, which then float over the head of the civilian. Source: George.
