Random survey of residents favors change in dress code Of the 250 resident students who participated in a random survey concerning dress regu lations, 99 percent agree there should be changes in the present policy. Annfrancis McCahill and Debbie Martin, both freshmen, conducted the survey at the recommendation of the Dorm Council. The ex ecutive board will review the suggested changes at the resi dence workshop, May 24 and 25. Although a large majority of students approved a change only 34 per cent went so far as to support a complete abo lition of dress regulations. Because Mundelein is sup posedly a progressive school, dress regulations should be abolished with the burden being on the individual to dress properly, stated the questionnaire. We 'r e sup posed to be adults, comment ed one student. Another stu dent, however, replied that dress regulations should not be abolished, because of dif ferent ideas of 'good taste' Regarding dress in the Tea room, 99 percent of those polled felt that slacks and shorts should be allowed at all weekend meals, except Sunday dinner. Only 34 percent, how ever, wanted the option of wearing slacks or shorts to all meals everyday except Sunday dinner. Ninety-three percent of those answering the survey want to wear slacks and shorts in the library. 72 pei gt; cent feel that shorts and slacks should be allowed in McCor mick Lounge; fifteen of these students however stipulated after 10 p.m. during the week. To the question regarding cut-offs, 54 percent disagreed with the present rule which forbids students to wear them. 25 percent feel that students should be permitted to wear snorts and slacks to class. Any final decisions regard ing dress will have to meet administration approval, Mary O'Connell, incoming dorm council president, pointed out. Give your contact lenses a bath tonight In order to keep your contact lenses as comfortable and convenient as they were meant to be. you have to take care of them. But until now you needed two or more separate solutions to properly prepare and maintain your contacts. Not with Lensine. Lensine is the one lens solution for complete contact lens care. Cleaning your contacts with Lensine retards the buildup of foreign deposits on the lenses. And soaking your contacts in Lensine overnight assures you of proper lens hygiene. You get a free soaking case on the bottom of every bottle of Lensine. It has been demonstrated that improper storage between wearings may result in the growth of bacteria on the lenses. This is a sure cause of eye irritation and in some cases can endanger your vision. Bacteria cannot grow in Lensine which is sterile, self-sanitizing, and antiseptic. Just a drop or two of Lensine. before you insert your lens, coats and lubricates it allowing the lens to float more freely in the eye's fluids. That's because Lensine is an isotonic solution, which means that it blends with the natural fluids of the eye. Let your contacts be the convenience they were meant to be.
