Ruth Ryan has chosen ,i duo-piano arrangement of the first movement of Beethoven's Concerto in C minor as representative of the Classical period- Betty Jean Murphy will play the or chestral accompaniments for the sec ond piano. Will Play Polonaise Representing the Romantic period will be piano selections including Cho pin's Polonaise in C Sharp Major. played by Joan Kvacky; and Prelude in F Minor, by Betty Wellner. Elaine Dai'nis will sing Grieg's I Love Thee. The concert brings the Modern school to the footlights in a number of se lections. Marilyn Egan has chosen a composition by the Finnish Chopin. Selim Palmgrein, entitled En Route. Ellen Schniitz will play Lotus Song by the English Modern, Cyril Scott: and Georgia Lambros will play Tscliai- chowsky's 1 lumoresque. Marie Casaccio has chosen for her vocal solo Hageman's The Night Has a Thousand lives. The composer has appeared as guest conductor for the Ravinia Park concerts. The program includes among its other vocal presentations Visi' D Arte' by Puccini, snug by Julie Devine: and the well known Lullaby from Jocelyn, sung by Mary Ann Seifert. Plays Trumpet Solos Catherine McBride lias chosen two trumpet solos lo give variety to the program. Miss McBride will play Vesti La Giubba from Pagliacci, by Leoncavallo, and the familiar Cautier composition. Le Secret. The Glee club, under the direction of Adalbert Huguelet. will present three numbers: Ring Out In Joyful Song by Kreutzer and arranged by the director, Mr. Huguelet; Spanish Easter Procession, a modern folk mo tif arranged by Gaul; and the Negro spiritual.
