Mundelein College was founded in 1930 by the Sister of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a four-year women’s college. Louise Skodzinski first committed to the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1950 and formally pronounced vows her vows in 1955. In 1972, As a BVM at Mundelein College, Skodzinski celebrated her 25th anniversary of commitment to the religious life.
